Homemade peanut butter
Serves: 2 cups

- Preheat oven 170°C fan forced. Scatter the peanuts over a baking tray. Roast 20-25 minutes or until golden. Cool 5 minute.
- Transfer warm peanuts to a food processor. Process peanuts until finely chopped. Scrape down side of bowl. Add oil. Process for 1 minute. Scrape down side of bowl. Process for another 1 minute and scrape down side of bowl. Repeat the process until peanut butter is the consistency you want it. Stir in salt to taste.
- Spoon into jar. Keep in the fridge.
- TIP: You can use roasted salted or unsalted peanuts for this recipe as well. Warm them in 170°C oven 7-10 minutes, then follow steps 2-3.
