MORE NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION IS COMING SOON, STAY TUNED!
Food Allergies
Some people have allergies to foods … all sorts of foods – eggs, milk products, soy, seafood, tree nuts, wheat and yes, peanuts.
Research identifies that a small percentage of the population is allergic to peanuts. These people have sensitivities ranging from a rash to severe anaphylaxis. If you suspect someone in your family has a food allergy, make sure you consult a doctor for correct diagnosis and advice.
PCA continues to work closely with national and international scientists to develop and test methods of lessening and managing allergic reactions to peanuts. PCA is also committed to sharing information and experience on the management of food allergens to ensure consumers receive relevant, consistent and easy-to-understand information on food allergens.
