Hot on the heels of its success at the recent
2008 Queensland Japan Chamber of Commerce & Industry awards, PCA has been named a finalist in the
2008 Premier of Queensland's Export AwardsThe awards ceremony was held at the Brisbane Convention Centre on October 16.
There were 24 nominations in the Agribusiness category.
PCA was honoured to be named one of the three finalists but unfortunately was pipped at the post by Australia's oldest still operating company, beef exporter the
Australian Agricultural Company.

(pictured with General Manager Operations Stewart Mealy and Export and Planning Manager Michelle Gilchrist), said that although that he was naturally disappointed that PCA had not won the top award, the competition had been very strong and he was proud that the company's export achievements had been recognised by the Queensland Government.
